Get ready for a day of fun and fitness at the 2025 Harlem Huskie Hustle on Saturday, May 17, 2025, in Machesney Park, Winnebago! This exciting event invites participants of all ages to join in on the action with a 5K run, a 1 Mile Walk/Run, and a Kids Fun Run. The festivities kick off at 8:30 AM with the Kids Fun Run, featuring age groups for children 12 and under, followed by the 5K and 1 Mile events starting at 9:00 AM.
Participants can take advantage of an early bird registration fee of just $20 for the 5K until April 15, with prices increasing to $25 thereafter. Each 5K and 1 Mile participant is guaranteed a race shirt if registered by May 1. Not only will there be finisher medals for all participants, but awards will also be presented for the top finishers in various age and gender divisions, as well as for the schools with the most student and staff participation. Lace up your running shoes and join the Harlem Wellness Program for a fantastic family-friendly event that promotes health and community spirit!

The Harlem Wellness Program is excited to host the 2025 Huskie Hustle 5K, 1 mile Walk/Run, & Kids Fun Run on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Harlem High School for Harlem's Staff, Students & their Families (_Sorry, pets are not allowed in the stadium or school grounds_)
EVENT SCHEDULE_
_8:30 am - We will kick off our with the Kids Fun Run (age groups: 4 and under; 5-6; 7-8; 9-10; and 11-12)
9:00 am - 5K runners/walkers & 1 mile walkers/runners will line up based on starting order: _5K runners, 5K walkers & 1 mile walkers/runners _
_5K walkers - for yours and the runners' safety, be aware of runners approaching you from behind and walk towards the sides of the path and keep the middle of the path open for the runners
_10:15 am - Awards on the track in the Stadium

Stay for awards. 5K finisher medals will be awarded to the 1st place finisher for men/women AND top 3 overall in each age/gender divisions:
* 8+ under; 9-11; 12-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70+.
* 1st place trophy will be awarded for the top male and female finisher

COURSE INFORMATION
The 5K will start on the track at the 50 yard line. Following the first bend of the track, runners/walkers will exit the track on the North side of the field through the double-gated entrance and follow the marked path to parking lot D and then onto Willow Creek path. The turn around will be marked (runners and walkers will NOT be crossing Forest Hills Road), returning to parking lot D, along the front of the high school and re-entering the track on the South side of the field (the single-gated entrance) to the finish line at the 50 yard line where this all started.
Race shirt guaranteed for 5K and 1 mile events only through May 1st.
