MYTEAM TRIUMPH CT IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT PARTICIPATES IN ENDURANCE EVENTS AS A TEAM!
Athletes with disabilities are our "Captains" and they are guided by their able-bodied "Angels" across each finish line.

Sign Me Up: I'd Like to Run the Full Marathon With Team Zak

Team Zak's only goal is to finish the race within the 6 hours cut off. Zak will iterate between running/walking and riding in his chair. When Zak is in the chair, runners should be able to maintain a 9:00 - 9:30 minute mile. -
Sign Me Up: I'd Like to Join Team Zak as a Relay Team Member

Join Team Zak on one or more of the relay legs. Team Zak's only goal is to finish the race within the 6 hours cut off. Zak will iterate between running/walking and riding in his chair. When Zak is in the chair, runners should be able to maintain a 9:00 - 9:30 minute mile. Leg 1 (5.8 miles Leg 2 (2.6 miles) Leg 3 (7.5 miles) Leg 4 (4.2 miles) Leg 5 (6.1 miles) Note: We will register relay teams as they fill up. However, if we have an imbalance on what legs people want to do, it's possible that won't be able to honor your request. Requests for specific legs will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. -

I Can't Make the Race, but I Want to Train With Team Zak.

Team Zak will be training most weekends, building up from 5 Miles starting in early June. They'll be practicing using the race day strategy of Zak walking/jogging some and then riding in the chair at a 9:00 - 9:30 pace to make sure we maintain an average under 13 minute miles. Signing up is not a commitment. We'll keep you in the loop about all training sessions. Drop in when you can. -
