Join us for the exhilarating 20th Annual Max's Race for The Davies Project on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at the scenic Michigan State University campus in East Lansing, Ingham! This inspiring 5K run/walk honors the legacy of Max, a spirited child who left us too soon due to complications from meningitis. Participants are invited to partake in a fun scavenger hunt featuring Max’s favorite things while supporting a worthy cause—proceeds from the event will provide free round-trip rides to medical appointments for children facing serious health challenges.
The race kicks off at 8 AM with a vibrant atmosphere that promises to be both uplifting and community-focused. Families are encouraged to join, with special group pricing available for those registering three or more participants. All racers will receive a stylish short sleeve t-shirt and a finisher's medal, while awards will be given to the top male and female finishers, as well as to the top three in various age categories. With packet pickup available on June 20th and race day starting times for kids' events following the 5K, this is a not-to-miss event! MAX'S RACE will partner with THE DAVIES PROJECT in 2025 for our 20TH ANNUAL in-person 5k run/walk on the beautiful campus of MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY. Consider a scavenger hunt of Max's favorite things such as the moon, the color orange, or MSU's mascot Sparty to honor the legacy of Max who passed away at the age of 6 due to complications from meningitis.
Proceeds from the event will support free round-trip rides to medical appointments for children facing serious health challenges.
All participants receive a short sleeve t-shirt and finisher's medal.
