Join us for the 20th Annual Max's Race for The Davies Project on Saturday, June 21, 2025, held at the picturesque campus of Michigan State University in East Lansing, Ingham. This vibrant 5K run/walk not only celebrates community spirit but also honors the legacy of Max, who tragically passed away at the age of 6. Participants can enjoy a fun scavenger hunt featuring Max's favorite things, including the moon and MSU's beloved mascot, Sparty.
The race starts at 8 AM, followed by a Kids Mile at 9:15 AM, ensuring a day full of excitement for families and runners of all ages. Each participant will receive a stylish short-sleeve t-shirt and a finisher's medal, with awards for the top male and female finishers as well as age group winners. Proceeds from this inspiring event will provide free round-trip rides to medical appointments for children facing serious health challenges. Organiser's Description
MAX'S RACE for THE DAVIES PROJECT 2025, our 20TH ANNUAL in-person 5k run/walk, will be held on the beautiful campus of MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY. Consider a scavenger hunt of Max's favorite things such as the moon, the color orange, or MSU's mascot Sparty to honor the legacy of Max who passed away at the age of 6 due to complications from meningitis.
Proceeds from the event will support free round-trip rides to medical appointments for children facing serious health challenges.
All participants receive a short sleeve t-shirt and finisher's medal.
