2025 Southtown River Run [10k]

Start your year off on the right foot and join us for a chill 10k along the San Antonio River. Well have everything you need to fight those excuses and get moving, including DISTANCE (10k effort!), COFFEE, SWAG & RUN GEAR, HYDRATION, COMPETITION, MUSIC, PRIZES, PHOTOS, SNACKS, FOOD, and more! There will also be dedicated space to connect and hear inspirational stories from people who have pushed through trials to see their goals through, so we can motivate each other and set the tone for 2025.

Joining a group run goes beyond how fast and how far you go: it's about showing up and being encouraged and inspired by the people who have chosen to be a runner that day. Like any year, 2025 will bring its battles and push some of us to our limits. Together, we can be encouraged to push back: to wake up and take it one step at a time. For some of us, getting up early on a cold morning will be the challenge, and for others, well be going the distance. In either case, this day is for you. Well have food, snacks, coffee, and dance music for all yall!

* CHECK-IN STARTS AT 8AM - RUN STARTS AT 9AM
* REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED DUE TO LIMITED CAPACITY - Please specify as best you can the number of people joining you (family or friends). Every runner must register separately.
* LOCATION: The start and finish of this run will be at the San Antonio Mennonite Church - downtown near Brackenridge High School right near the river pathway.
* PARKING: Available to the right of the church and street parking.

PLEASE NOTE:

* RUNNERS PACKAGE: The cost to join the run will guarantee RUNNERS food, drink, fruit, plus discounted items from sponsors including a chance to win our prize package of clothing, coffee, and running gear. To add some competition, runners will be awarded extra points by completing certain tasks without knowing what these tasks are until the grand prize is revealed. Secret judges will be carefully adding these points up and factoring them into a final score.
* RACE BIBS: There will not be race bibs. Instead, were marking runners with numbers and assuming that most people will be tracking with their watch or phone using a number of different apps. Our recommendation is Strava.

* PRIZES:

* No medals will be handed out, but we will have a special backdrop for photos with commemorative awards.
Both RUNNERS and GUESTS will have chances to win prizes like Sheath clothing, Big Timmys Trail Treat, Philos Coffee, and much more.
* T-Shirts: There will be custom, ultra comfortable bamboo t-shirts and swag to commemorate the run available for purchase in very limited quantities, courtesy of our friends at Sheath.
