Join us for the 14th Annual Penn Alexander School Run for Art & Science on Sunday, May 31, 2026, in the vibrant city of Philadelphia! This exciting event features two fantastic race options for participants of all ages and fitness levels: a scenic 5K run and a delightful 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk.
The 5K course starts on Locust Street near the Penn Alexander School entrance and takes runners through the picturesque Penn campus, winding along Locust Walk and into beautiful Penn Park, before returning to the finish line on Locust Street. Please note that for the 5K, we kindly ask runners to refrain from bringing pets or strollers to ensure a smooth experience for everyone. The 1-Mile Fun Run, perfect for families and friends, welcomes strollers and takes participants to the compass at 37th and Locust, returning to the playful atmosphere of the PAS playground. This is a fantastic opportunity to get active, support a great cause, and enjoy a beautiful day outdoors in the heart of Philadelphia!

The 5K Course begins on Locust Street near the PAS front entrance. Our amazing course will take you through the beautiful Penn campus on Locust Walk to Penn Park, returning to Penn Alexander School's Locust Street finish line. FOR THE 5K, WE ARE ASKING THAT RUNNERS DO NOT BRING PETS OR STROLLERS ON THE 5K COURSE. PLEASE PLAN TO BE OFF THE COURSE BY 9:20 AM TO ENSURE A SAFE START TO THE 1-MILE FUN RUN.
The 1-Mile Fun Run will go to the compass at 37th and Locust and back. The start and finish line will be on Locust Street, by the PAS playground.
STROLLERS FOR THE 1-MILE FUN RUN ARE WELCOME. PETS ARE NOT PERMITTED ON THE 1-MILE FUN RUN COURSE.

OPENS 05 FEB 26The 1 Mile Fun Run will begin at the same start line as the 5K. Participants will make their way from PAS to Locust Walk at 37th Street and head back to PAS. Strollers are welcome on the 1 mile course. Pets are not permitted on the 1-mile course.
