Join us for the exhilarating 20th Annual Beecher Freedom 5K Run/Walk on July 4, 2026, in the charming village of Beecher, Illinois! This exciting event kicks off at 8 AM, with same-day registration and check-in available from 7:00 to 7:45 AM at the Community Hall, located at 673 Penfield St. Participants can register in advance for just $18, with a race shirt available for an additional $13. Race day registration is $25, but be sure to note that no shirts will be available on race day!
The scenic race course will take you through the beautiful streets of Beecher, complete with accurately marked miles and computerized timing. Plus, enjoy a refreshing water station at the halfway point and complimentary refreshments after you cross the finish line. Last year, over 230 enthusiastic runners and walkers participated, and this year promises to be even bigger! Proceeds from this event will support the Beecher Lion's Club in their mission to provide vision screenings, eyeglasses, and hearing aids to local residents in need. Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to race for a cause and celebrate Freedom Day with your community!

Sponsored by and a major fundraiser for the Beecher Lion's Club, the "20th Annual" race will be held on July 4, 2026 at 8 AM. Same day registration and check-in will be 7:00 - 7:45 AM. The entry fee is $18 pre-registered - race shirts are an additional $13. Race day registration is $25 (No shirts on race day). Start/Finish and Registration are at the Community Hall, located at 673 Penfield St. The race course winds through the Village of Beecher with a water station at the halfway point. The race includes accurately marked miles, computerized timing, and free refreshments after the race. The Freedom 5K is the Lion's Club opportunity to raise funds in support of our mission to serve the Beecher Community. The proceeds from this event will help provide vision screenings, eye glasses, and hearing aids to local residents needing financial assistance. Last year we had over 230 participants, come see why!!
