Registration opens at 7:30 AM, with pre-entry fees set at $30 until June 6th, and $35 thereafter. Plus, kids will receive a free t-shirt if registered by the deadline! Organiser's Description
Get ready for the return of Camp Jewells 5k fun run. This 5K that truly showcases everything Camp Jewell has to offer. The race kicks off at the Thunderdome in the heart of camp, beginning with a quick loop around a few of our central buildings before heading out onto the main camp drive. From there, runners transition onto our wooded trail system, crossing the covered bridge and climbing toward our scenic Hide-A-Way site before continuing to Ranch Camp.
The course then takes you down the ranch driveway and briefly out onto McClave Road and Prock Hill Road, adding a mix of terrain before looping back into camp. Runners re-enter the trails, passing by our zipline and ski hill, before emerging at the main field for the final stretch. The race finishes right where it begins, at the Thunderdome.
With rolling hills and varied terrain throughout, it offers a rewarding challenge for runners of all levels. What it lacks in flat ground, it more than makes up for in scenerywinding through some of the most beautiful and iconic areas of camp.
