Event summary
Kick off the weekend with early bib pickup on Friday, May 15th, from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM at Happy Valley Elementary. On race day, the festivities begin at 7:45 AM with bib pickup and same-day registration. The event features a delightful Kid's Dash at 8:30 AM for children aged 11 and under, followed by a chip-timed 5K and 10K run/walk at 9:00 AM. With a safe, full sidewalk route, strollers are welcome, and parents can join their kids during the dash, escorted by local fire and police services. SCHEDULE:
FRIDAY, MAY 15TH
* 4:30PM TO 5:30PM - Early bib pickup - @ Happy Valley Elementary
SATURDAY, MAY 16TH
* 7:45AM - Bib pick up and Day of Race Registration
* 8:30AM - Kid's Dash (Non-Timed) - 11 & under with two wave times for younger kiddos. Kids dash is $5.00 but week of $10,00 to cover medal, bib and their free ticket into the carnival - shirt cost is $18.00.
* 9:00AM - 5K and 10K Chip Timed Run\Walk
The race starts and finishes at HAPPY VALLEY ELEMENTARY school!
Please note you MUST register by May 1st to receive a shirt. After that date, shirts will only be available on a limited basis. For the kids dash, if you pay for a shirt, that size is available.
* Strollers are welcome. This will be a full sidewalk route for safety and ease.
* Parents are invited to run or walk with their kids during the dash. It is a quick dash from the elementary school to the middle school and back, with a fire truck or police escort leading the way.
* Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash while on school grounds, and owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.
***ALL SHIRTS/PACKET PICKUPS MUST BE PICKED UP AT THE EVENT PRIOR TO THE RACE START. NO PACKET AND SHIRT PICK UP AFTER OUR EVENT.
