The Pirates & Princesses of the Peninsula: 2-Mile Walk & Run and Autism Resource Fair is a family-friendly community event designed to bring together individuals, families, service providers, and community partners from across the Peninsula in celebration of inclusion, connection, and support.
Hosted by the Autism Society of Tidewater Virginia [https://www.tidewaterASA.org] (ASTV), this event creates a unique opportunity for families affected by autism and related disabilities to connect with local organizations, discover available resources, and build relationships with providers who understand their needs. ASTV recognizes that navigating services can be challenging, and this event was created to help ensure families have access to the information, support, and connections needed to thrive.
The 2-mile walk and run invites participants of all ages and abilities to join together in a fun, accessible experience that celebrates every individual's journey. Whether walking, running, rolling, or cheering from the sidelines, participants become part of a community committed to acceptance and belonging.
