In celebration of National Dyslexia Month, this exciting event marks 25 years of dedicated service by the Children's Dyslexia Center of Southern Illinois, providing essential tutoring and training for children with dyslexia. Participants can choose to take part in either the invigorating 5K Fun Run or the family-friendly walk, all while supporting a remarkable cause that helps empower young individuals with dyslexia.
This event not only promises a day of fun and fitness but also highlights the invaluable resources offered by the center, including research-based reading and writing programs, all provided at no cost to families. We invite everyone to come out, show your support, and help raise awareness about dyslexia in our community. Don’t forget to register by September 26th to ensure you receive a special event T-shirt! We can’t wait to see you there, making strides for a brighter future!

IN RECOGNITION OF NATIONAL DYSLEXIA MONTH, THE CHILDREN'S DYSLEXIA CENTER OF SOUTHERN ILLINOIS WILL BE HOLDING ITS ANNUAL WALK-A-THON TO HELP CHILDREN WITH DYSLEXIA. WE WOULD LIKE TO INVITE YOU TO JOIN US IN CELEBRATING 25 YEARS OF PROVIDING DYSLEXIA TUTORING AND TUTOR TRAINING TO OUR COMMUNITY!
THE CHILDREN'S DYSLEXIA CENTER IS PROUD TO PROVIDE ONE OF THE MOST RESEARCH BASED READING AND WRITTEN LANGUAGE INSTRUCTION PROGRAMS TO CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS WITH DYSLEXIA THROUGHOUT THE METRO-EAST AREA. IN ADDITION, OUR CENTER PROVIDES TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION OF TUTORS TO WORK WITH CHILDREN WITH DYSLEXIA.
ALL OF THE SERVICES OFFERED AT THE CHILDREN'S DYSLEXIA CENTER ARE PROVIDED AT NO COST TO THE PARTICIPANTS AND THEIR FAMILIES.
