THIS YEAR WILL MARK 25TH ANNUAL BROOKLET PEANUT RUN 5K. THIS RACE WILL BE HELD ON THE 3RD SATURDAY IN AUGUST (AUGUST 16, 2025) AND WILL BEGIN AT 7:15 A.M. THE LOCATION OF THE RACE WILL BE AT THE BROOKLET ELEMENTARY SCHOOL - 600 WEST LANE STREET BROOKLET, GA. THE AWARDS CEREMONY WILL BE IN FRONT OF THE SCHOOL AT 8:30 A.M.
SINCE THIS WILL BE THE 25TH YEAR, WE PLAN TO MAKE IT ONE OF THE BIGGEST AND BEST. PLANS ARE BEING MADE TO AWARD TOP PRIZES AND ALSO HAVE SOME GREAT DOOR PRIZES. WE LOOK FORWARD TO ALL RUNNERS AND WALKERS TO PARTICIPATE.
THE ACTUAL PEANUT FESTIVAL HAS BEEN MOVED TO THE THIRD SATURDAY IN SEPTEMBER, HOWEVER WE HAVE KEPT THE 5K RACE ON WHAT WAS THE ORIGINAL DATE OF THE PEANUT FESTIVAL WHICH WAS THE 3RD SATURDAY OF AUGUST.
THE 5K RUN IS HOSTED BY THE SOUTHEAST BULLOCH HIGH SCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY TEAM(S). THIS IS A FUNDRAISER TO HELP WITH TRAVEL COSTS WITHIN THE SEASON AND ALSO ASSIST WITH THE PURCHASING OF UNIFORMS AND OTHER TEAM EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES.
PRICING: EARLY BIRD SPECIAL FOR THOSE SIGNING UP BEFORE JULY 6TH THE COST WILL BE $25. BEGINNING JULY 6TH, 2025 THE PRICE WILL BE $30. EVERYONE SIGNING UP PRIOR TO AUGUST 4TH WILL BE GUARANTEED A T-SHIRT. BEGINNING ON AUGUST 5TH THE PRICE WILL INCREASE TO $35. AND ANYONE SIGNING UP ON OR AFTER AUGUST 5TH WILL NOT BE GUARANTEED A T-SHIRT.

Prices through July 5, 2025 - $25 and a guarantee of a t-shirt. On July 6th, 2025 the price will increase to - $30. On August 5th the price will increase to $35 and NO guarantee of a t-shirt. Race Day - $35 What: 25th Annual Brooklet Peanut Run 5k Benefiting Southeast Bulloch High Cross Country & Track Teams When: August 16, 2025 Race Day Packet pickup 6:00a.m. till 7:00 A.M. Race day registration fee $35. 5K Run15a.m./Awards Ceremony 8:30 A.M. Last chance registration and race packet pickup will be available on Fri. Aug.15th between 4:00p.m. & 7:00p.m. in front of the Brooklet Elementary School This years race will be limited to 500 runners. Only pre-registered runners whose race applications or online entries are received by August 5th will be guaranteed a T-shirt. Where: Brooklet Elementary School 600 West Lane Street Brooklet, GA 30415 About the Run & Course: The run ambles through the picturesque streets of Brooklet, GA. The course is flat & fast. In years past the course has been certified, however the certification expired in 2014. Race organizers have been attempting to re-certify the course however due to very few people available to certify the course we cannot guarantee a certification by race date. The course will be well marked and guided by a lead bicycler. Due to the August heat the run will begin promptly at 7:15A.M. It is imperative that all participants wear their assigned race Bib# on their front and visible at all times as timing will be by this number. This is a great run for the entire family at a great value. Teams welcome!!!
