Join the excitement at the first annual Risley Run and Wildcat Walk on Saturday, May 3rd, 2025, in Brunswick, Glynn! This vibrant community event kicks off at 8:00 AM, featuring a scenic 5K run that winds through the lovely neighborhoods along South Port Parkway. Participants can choose to either run or walk, making it a perfect outing for everyone. Not only will you enjoy a fun-filled morning, but you'll also be supporting the future leaders of Risley Middle School, as all proceeds will help their Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) members attend the National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, California.
Every participant will receive a stylish t-shirt, and the event will be chip-timed, with results posted promptly. Stick around for the Awards Ceremony, where the top 3 overall male and female winners will be recognized, taking home fantastic prizes from our generous sponsor, Game Changers SSI. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking to enjoy a leisurely walk, come out to support these incredible students and be part of a day filled with community spirit and achievement!

Join Risley Middle School in their first annual Risley Run and Wildcat Walk! Take your pick on whether you want to RUN or WALK. All proceeds from this event will support Risley Middle School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) members on their trip to represent Georgia at the National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, California this summer. In Risley FBLA chapter's first year, they received Silver Chapter of the Year (Top 10 in the state), 11 top ten finishers, and one of our students was elected as the State Vice President!
The 5k run will start at 8:00am and wind through neighborhoods along South Port Parkway. The Start and Finish line will be in front of Risley Middle School. All runners will receive a tshirt. Event will be chipped timed and results posted.
Runners and walkers are encouraged to hang around for the Awards Ceremony following the race. Come join in on the fun while also supporting some great students!
