This uplifting event is a perfect way to celebrate the continued success of St. Mary's while honoring the memory of Chris Griswold, one of the school's most cherished alumni and supporters. Kicking off at 5:30 PM, the 5K race promises to be an exciting experience for participants of all ages, especially with the added opportunity to reconnect with alumni, families, and friends during St. Mary’s LancerFest/Alumni Weekend.
In addition to the main event, we are thrilled to bring back the 1 Mile Fun Run, starting at 5:00 PM, where everyone can join in on the fun for just $10! Pre-registration for the 5K is available for $30 until September 16, with day-of registration priced at $40. St. Mary's students can register for only $20 using a special coupon code. Don’t miss out on this chance to honor Chris Griswold’s legacy while enjoying a wonderful day filled with community spirit and camaraderie!

What better way to celebrate the St. Mary's upward momentum than with a 5K race to honor the memory of one of the school's greatest alumni and supporters, Chris Griswold?
The former race leadership team, led by Dr. Nick Aquino, a St. Marys graduate of the Class of 1973, has passed the baton (pun intended) to the St. Marys Athletics Department to do the behind the scenes work leading up to the race. Dr. Aquino is still very much involved and wants to ensure this incarnation of the Griswold Run is the best it has ever been.
We wanted to share an important update regarding this years event. The Griswold Run has been postponed and will now take place on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 17 AT 5:30 P.M. This new date aligns more closely with St. Marys LancerFest/Alumni Weekend, creating a greater opportunity for alumni, families, and friends of the school to come together and be part of this meaningful event.
We are excited about the potential this new timing bringsallowing us to grow participation, strengthen connections within the St. Marys community, and continue celebrating Chriss lasting impact in an even bigger way.
