Organiser's Description
A time-honored tradition among Pirates. A rite of passage, if you will, the annual Pirate XC Time Trial is a three-mile time trial conducted on the track at the PHS Stadium in Polson, Montana. Pirates have to run, the community gets to run. Come test yourself against the Pirates and show them your support. This event is a cross-country style dual score event pitting the local community, middle school runners, coaches, and alumni against our Pirates. This is also a fundraiser for our Polson Pirate XC Team. This trial is also used to select our varsity team for the first meet. Not up for racing our Pirates? Please come out and support our team in a fun filled event. Also, please consider donating to the program if you are able. In accordance with MHSA rules this is a friendly time trial and not an interscholastic competition, therefore, High School students from schools other than Polson are not allowed to compete in this event.
