Join us for the 3rd Annual Jerry's Miles for Manhattans on Saturday, December 20th, 2025, in Pleasanton, Alameda! This uplifting event honors the incredible legacy of Jerry Fourie, a beloved figure in the Pleasanton community known for his contributions to sports and camaraderie. Participants will take part in a scenic 2-mile walk around the Pleasanton Sports Complex, celebrating the memories and friendships forged on and off the softball field.
The walk is free of charge, but donations in honor of Jerry can be made to the Jerry Fourie Scholarship Fund, supporting local youth through the Pleasanton Girls Softball League. After the walk, everyone is invited to gather at Porky’s Pizza for some post-event fun and perhaps a celebratory Manhattan or two. Mark your calendars for this heartwarming occasion as we come together to remember a true community champion!

We are back for YEAR 3! A walk honoring the one and only Jerry Fourie! Jerry has done so much for the Pleasanton community, specifically in the area of sports and he was/is truly one of the best there ever will be. Walk participants will loop the Pleasanton Sports Complex to honor him and cherish the memories we had both on and off the softball field. Please join us on December 20th, 2025 for the 2 mile walk (route HERE [https://www.strava.com/segments/23100758]).
The walk is free of charge; however, if you would like to make a donation in honor of Jerry Fourie, please donate to the Pleasanton Girls Softball League: The Jerry Fourie Scholarship Fund [https://pgsl.futurefund.com/store/campaigns/37995-the-jerry-fourie-scholarship-fund], a scholarship fund created by his immediate family.
Parking will be available in the two lots off of Parkside Drive that are closest to Hopyard. The rest of the lots east of those parking lots will be inaccessible as fields are closed during the winter.
