THE SPARTANBURG UPSTATE FATHERHOOD COALITION PROUDLY PRESENTS THE RUN FOR FATHERS 5K, AN EVENT DEDICATED TO RAISING AWARENESS AND SUPPORT FOR DISADVANTAGED FATHERS IN SPARTANBURG AND SPARTANBURG COUNTY. OUR MISSION IS TO EMPOWER FATHERS WITH THE RESOURCES, COMMUNITY, AND ENCOURAGEMENT THEY NEED TO THRIVE. THROUGH THIS EVENT, WE STRIVE TO FOSTER A SENSE OF UNITY AND PURPOSE, HIGHLIGHTING FATHERS' CRITICAL ROLE IN THE WELL-BEING OF OUR FAMILIES AND COMMUNITY. CLOSEDWe are excited to announce that the Upstate Fatherhood Coalitions annual Run for Fathers 5K is just around the corner, taking place on June 27th 2026! This event is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate and support the fathers in our community while raising awareness about the vital role they play in the lives of their children and families. To make this event a success, we are reaching out to our community for enthusiastic volunteers who are willing to lend a hand. Volunteering at the Run for Fathers 5K is not only a way to give back but also an opportunity to connect with others who share a passion for strengthening families. We need volunteers for a variety of roles, including: - Registration and Check-In: Welcome participants, distribute race packets, and ensure a smooth start to the event. - Course Marshals: Direct runners along the course, provide encouragement, and help maintain safety throughout the race. - Water Stations: Keep our runners hydrated and motivated by managing water stations along the route. - Post-Race Activities: Assist with the awards ceremony, refreshments, and event clean-up. -
