Join us for the 43rd Annual Lanesville Heritage Weekend Road Race on Saturday, September 12, 2026, in the charming town of Lanesville, Harrison. Choose from three fantastic events: the challenging 8-Mile Run, the 5-Mile Non-Competitive Walk/Run, or the fun-filled 2-Mile Kids Run.
Set against the stunning backdrop of Southern Indiana's picturesque countryside, the 8-Mile Run and 5-Mile courses begin at Lanesville High School and take you on a scenic journey past beautiful farms and rolling hills. Runners will be awarded for their achievements, with prizes for the top two finishers in each age group for both men and women in the 8-mile run. Meanwhile, the kids will have their own exciting challenge with a timed 2-mile run, featuring awards for the top finishers among boys and girls. 8 Mile Run, 5 Mile Walk and/or 2 Mile Kids Run
One of the oldest running/walking events in Southern Indiana, the Lanesville Heritage Races presented by Lanesville Boys Basketball, features 3 events.
The 8-MILE RUN and 5-MILE NON-COMPETITIVE WALK/RUN courses start at the Lanesville High School (not the gym) and wind into the countryside. This is one of the most scenic routes in Southern Indiana. The course takes you past several farms and over rolling hills throughout the beautiful Southern Indiana
Awards are given to the top 2 finishers in each age group for men and women in the 8-mile run.
The 2-mile kids run starts and finishes on the Lanesville High School track, with an out-and-back course design in-between. Timed results will be provided for each runner, and awards will be given to the top 2 finishers for both boys and girls.
In addition, we will have gift card door prizes to be drawn after races, along with winner awards. Winners must be present to win.
