Join us for the Annual Alplaus Runaround & Community Event, one of the longest-running road races in New York's Capital Region! This beloved community tradition brings together children, families, friends, walkers, and runners of all ages from Alplaus and the surrounding communities for a fun and memorable day.
The event features a One-Mile Fun Run for participants of all ages and a fast, runner-friendly 5K through the scenic hamlet of Alplaus. The paved course is predominantly flat with several gentle downhill sections, making it a great opportunity to set a personal best or enjoy your first 5K.
The Alplaus Runaround 5K course is USATF-certified.
