Get ready for an exhilarating day of running and fun at the 45th Annual Willits Classic on Sunday, February 15, 2026! Set in the picturesque town of Willits, Mendocino, this beloved event features a scenic 5K run/walk and a challenging 10-mile run that meanders through the breathtaking Little Lake Valley. Both races kick off at the Recreation Grove Park, conveniently located at the corner of East Commercial Street and South Lenore Avenue, with same-day registration starting at 9 AM and the races beginning at 10 AM.
Participants will have the chance to compete for awards, including honors for the Top Three Overall Male and Female finishers as well as Age Group Awards. Not only is this a fantastic event for runners of all levels, but it also supports a great cause, with all net proceeds benefiting Willits' Youth Running Programs. Whether you're a local or visiting from nearby Mendocino, Lake, or North Sonoma County, join us for a day filled with community spirit and an opportunity to challenge yourself in the beautiful outdoors!

The Willits Classic is back again and true to form, there will be a 5k run/walk and a 10 mile run, both following scenic loop around the Little Lake Valley. Both races Start/Finish at the Recreation Grove Park in downtown Willits at the corner East Commercial Street and South Lenore Ave. Same-day registration opens at 9 AM, start time for both races is 10 AM, with awards to follow for Top Three Overall Male and Female, as well as Age Group Awards. All net proceeds benefit Willits' Youth Running Programs.
