49th Annual Oakwood's That Day in May Fun Run, 5K, 10K and Virtual Run

2024 marks the 49th Annual for the Oakwood 5k, 10k and Family Fun Run.   There is a virtual 5k option for those who cant make the actual race at Oakwood High School on May 20.  The FREE family fun run is 1k and starts at 8:30am.  Fun Runners have the option of purchasing a shirt with their registration for $12.  The 5k, 10k and virtual options include a technical shirt with your entry if registered by May 1, 2023. The 5k and 10k will start at 9am on Delwood.
 
Race day check-in will be outside the Mack Hummon Stadium behind Oakwood High School starting at 7:30am on May 20, 2022.  
 
All those registered for the virtual event will be invited to submit results for compilation and will be posted on the Speedy Feet website.  We will also invite you to send us some of your race day pictures to post to our website.  For those running In-Person, we will have your results and pictures posted to our website for you.  Here are links to the courses.
 
Oakwood 5k Course
 
Oakwood 10k Course
 
Notes on the course. Both the 5k and 10k start and finish on Dellwood, directly across from the Field Goal Upright on the the Football Field.  For the 5k, the turn-around is on Hathaway.  After passing Greenmount, but before coming to Dellwood, there is a telephone pole on your right.  This is the 5k turnaround.  For the 10k, you keep going straight at the 5k turnround.  The course takes you down Schantz.  After passing Glendora but before coming to Brown St, there is a yellow fire hydrant on your right.  The fire hydrant is the 10k turnaround.  
 
There are no processing fees for online entry this year!
 
Awards for the 5k and 10k will be presented as follows:
