Join us for the 4th Annual Jacob Butze Memorial 5K and 1 Mile Run on Sunday, June 8, 2025, in the vibrant community of Shaker Heights, Cuyahoga. This inspiring event celebrates the life of Jacob Butze, who bravely faced T-Cell ALL Leukemia before his passing in 2020. Participants can choose to run either the 5K or the 1 Mile distance, all while supporting a meaningful cause—raising funds for scholarships for those affected by cancer.
Race packet pickup will be available on race day or the day before, Saturday, June 7th, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Van Aken. To add to the festivities, Craft Collective will be offering two special drink options in honor of Jacob, making it a perfect way to celebrate community and camaraderie. Celebrate the life of Jacob Butze, who died in 2020 from T-Cell ALL Leukemia while raising money for his foundation to help fund scholarships for people affected by Cancer.
Packets can be picked up the day of the race or Saturday June 7th from 3:00-5:00 at Van Aken. Craft Collective will have two drink specials honoring Jacob as well. They are located in the Van Aken District.
