With a chip start and finish, every participant is guaranteed a race T-shirt if you register early, so don't miss out! The event kicks off at 8 AM, allowing you to complete your run before diving into the township’s festive July 4th activities. Race-day check-in and bib/shirt pickup start at 7 AM, and for those eager to get a head start, advance pickup will be available on July 3rd. Community support plays a crucial role in the success of our athletes, and we encourage everyone to participate, whether by running, walking, or donating. Please join us for our favorite summer tradition, the 4th of July Run Through Maplewood! This 5K race benefits the Columbia High School Track & Field and Cross Country programs. It's a semi-hilly run (or walk) through the neighborhood streets of beautiful Maplewood, New Jersey. We'll have chip start and finish, and race T-shirts will be guaranteed for the first 220 registered runners.
Track & Field / Cross Country is the largest athletics team at CHS, and community support has been vital to enabling our amazing athletes to compete year after year. We're very thankful for our generous sponsor for this event, Jill Sockwell Group.
