Get ready for an exciting day of fitness and fun at the 5K & 1 Mile event supporting Special Olympics and celebrating our veterans on Sunday, November 9, 2025! This thrilling race, now in its 12th year, will take place on a USATF certified course, ensuring an official and enjoyable experience for all participants. Choose between a 1-mile walk or a 5K run, welcoming participants of all ages to join in the festivities.

The first 200 registered walkers and runners will receive a commemorative T-shirt, adding to the excitement of the day. After the race, indulge in an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast for just $5, a delicious way to celebrate our veterans and support a great cause. Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in various age groups, making this event even more competitive and rewarding. Proceeds will benefit the North Haven Special Olympics and other local charities, supporting 90 athletes who participate in a variety of sports like bocce, softball, floor hockey, swimming, and basketball.
