The 5TH WARD VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT 5K RUN/WALK is more than just a raceit's a chance to SUPPORT THE FIREFIGHTERS AND FIRST RESPONDERS who dedicate their lives to protecting the DARROW COMMUNITY and beyond. Whether youre racing to set a personal best or walking to show your support, your participation helps raise funds for CRITICAL EQUIPMENT AND RESOURCES that enable our department to perform at the highest level.
Since 1960, the 5TH WARD VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT has been committed to PROTECTING LIVES AND PROPERTY from fires, medical emergencies, and natural disasters. Our firefighters are trained in FIRE SUPPRESSION, EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES, AND SPECIALIZED RESCUE OPERATIONS, ensuring they are always ready to respond when duty calls.
