Come join us on 605 Day as we rally behind the Alzheimer's Association South Dakota, the premier source of information and support for the over 18,000 individuals grappling with Alzheimers in our state, along with their families and caregivers. Through its statewide office, the Alzheimers Association offers an extensive array of programs and services, including a 24-hour Helpline, personalized care consultations, and invaluable support groups.
Not only does the Alzheimer's Association provide essential support and resources for those affected by this disease, but it also serves as the largest non-profit funder of Alzheimer's research worldwide. Every dollar raised during the 605 Day 5k for Alzheimer's will directly contribute to funding vital research initiatives aimed at better understanding, treating, and ultimately finding a cure for Alzheimer's.
Together, through our participation in the 605 Day 5k and our support of the Alzheimer's Association, we can make a tangible difference in the lives of individuals and families impacted by Alzheimer's. OPENS SOONIn addition to the excitement of the event itself, here are some important details to ensure your participation is seamless and enjoyable: Register Early, Secure Your Shirt: We have a limited inventory of shirts - once they are gone they are gone so register early! Packet Pickup: For your convenience, packet pickup will be available at the park starting at 4:30 pm and concluding at 6:00 pm on the day of the event. This gives you ample time to collect your race bib, timing chip, and any other important information ahead of the race start. Join us for an evening of community, camaraderie, and making a difference as we come together for the 605 Day 5k for Alzheimer's.
