Join us for the 6th Annual SSADD 5K/10K Walk or Run on Sunday, October 20, 2024, in the vibrant community of Sidney, Delaware! The races kick off at 1:00 PM at Sidney High School, where participants can choose between a competitive 5K or a challenging 10K, which involves running the same scenic course twice. For families and younger participants, don't miss the half-mile color run starting at 2:30 PM! Each runner will receive a performance T-shirt for just $20, which also serves as registration for both races. Enjoy a festive atmosphere with live music, delicious food and beverages, and awards based on age group after the races. Lace up your running shoes and come out to support a great cause while having a fantastic time!

Organiser's Description
Sidney Sabers and SSADD (Sidney Students Against Destructive Decisions) will be hosting our 6th annual 5k walk/run and 10K run. Runners competing in the 10k will run the same course twice. The race will start at 1:00 on 10/20/2024. ALL proceeds will go to Sidney Food Bank, Ronald McDonald House Charities, and SSADD. The 5k/10k will start and end at Sidney High School and will be timed for competitive runners. After the race there will be awards based on age group, food and beverage, and live music. There will also be a half mile color run to follow after the race starting at 2:30.Performance T-Shirts will be made and distributed at the start of the race. The cost per shirt will be 20$. By purchasing a shirt you will be already registered for both runs. You do not have to purchase one in order to participate in the race. However, we are trying to raise as much money as possible for these causes.
