Join us for the 7th Annual PTSD Awareness 5K Run/Walk on June 7-8, 2025, in beautiful Peoria, Maricopa! This inspiring event aims to raise awareness and support for those affected by PTSD, including first responders who often face this battle. Starting at Copper Hills Church, located at 27035 N Black Rock Blvd, participants can look forward to a vibrant community atmosphere as they run or walk to honor those who have struggled with PTSD.
Runners and walkers of all ages are encouraged to participate, with awards for the top male and female finishers in various age categories from 0-19 to 60+. Everyone will receive a participant t-shirt, a limited edition challenge coin, and refreshments provided by Well Coffee Co. Organiser's Description
It's our 7th Annual PTSD Awareness 5K! Help us in our efforts to overcome PTSD by supporting and participating in this event. Show your support by honoring those that have lost the battle to PTSD, those who are currently battling and those who have survived the battle. Through PERSEVERANCE, TENACITY, SUPPORT and DETERMINATION we can overcome PTSD. Proceeds from this event will go to the First Responder PTS Foundation (501c3) to assist first responders in obtaining mental health services and education related to PTSD.
We will be giving out awards to the top male and female finisher in the following age categories
0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
RACE LOCATION will be at Copper Hills Church at 27035 N Black Rock Blvd, Peoria, AZ 85383
Participants will receive
