8th Annual Road Home

The 8th Annual Road Home features two events.  First is our Fitness Challenge happening  May 18-27, 2024.  This virtual event features stories of fallen US military Heroes.  Each day of the challenge, participants will receive an email with the story of the Fallen Hero of the day, written exercise instructions, and three exercise videos.  We have tailored the exercises to meet the needs of beginners through advanced participants. The exercises use little to no additional equipment.
Second is our 10K, 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run on September 21 2024.  The event will take place at Sedgwick County Park.  The 10K 5K are professionaly timed racse.  Every participant will receive an awesomely unique t-shirt, a dogtag completion Medal and trophies for various age groups and overall winners. 
Large American flags will be available for you to carry you cross the finish line!
Passageways Living Center is designed to help our veterans with a hand-up, not a hand-out. We provide a warm and safe environment for them to live and accomplish their goals.  We provide a road map through the maze of VA programs and give them the time they need to work through the system without worrying about where they will sleep or find food. Many of our current heroes have spent months living on the street, unable to get into the programs that would benefit them because they didn’t have the resources they needed. 
In our world today, there are Veterans who went away to foreign countries to fight for our freedom only to come home and continue the fight. They fight for a place in society, an identity, a place to call home. No Veteran should ever have to continue their fight after returning to their home soil.
