Event summary
In addition to the 5k, engage in the invigorating CrossFit Hero WOD throughout the day, starting at 8:46 AM, with additional sessions at 9:59 AM and 11:30 AM. This unique workout includes a variety of exercises designed to honor the heroes of that day, such as a 2001m run or row, box jumps, and burpees. Don’t miss the chance to climb on stair climbers overlooking the beautiful Memorial Stadium, where you can pay tribute to those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. Remember, the last day to register and secure your event shirt is August 21st at 8 AM, so mark your calendars and come be a part of this uplifting tribute!
Organiser's Description
25th Anniversary 9/11 Memorial Tribute Challenge
5k Run/Walk- Timing machine and bibs will be available day of race. Location for the start of the race will be on the west side of the stadium. Please go to the registration table. Race will begin at 8:46am (Time the 1st plane hit the trade center).
Crossfit Hero Wod- Come down on the beautiful stadium grounds and complete the 9/11 Hero Wod put on by Kokomo CrossFit. The 1st WOD will kick off at 8:46am then continue through the day at 9:59a and 11:30am.
