Join us for the Earth Day 5K Family Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, April 25, 2026, benefitting the La Porte City Park Foundation! This race is an official 2026 Calumet Region Striders Gold Cup Series event. The course will be a beautiful loop around Clear Lake with an outandback section on the Chessie Trail.

All proceeds from the race will go toward park improvements and environmental initiatives in our community. At packet pickup, you will be assigned a bib number. Friends or family members may pick up packets on your behalf. Tshirts are guaranteed for participants who registered by 4/9/2026.

We recommend arriving early on race day to allow time for parking and packet pickup before the race begins. Truesdell Avenue and Taylor Drive will be closed for the race starting at 8:30 AM. Additional parking is available in the lot off McClung Road, located on the hill behind the amphitheater.
