Join us for the ADM Recovery Challenge 5K on Saturday, June 6, 2026, in beautiful Akron, Summit! This exciting event invites athletes of all ages and abilities to participate in a spirited 5K race that symbolizes the journey of recovery. The challenging course winds through scenic trees, includes fun obstacles like stepping through tires and climbing hills, ensuring an engaging experience for all participants. Every runner will receive a medal, and those who register early will also be awarded a custom 5K race shirt.
But that’s not all! Families can enjoy the 1 Mile Family Fun Walk, where every paid participant receives a custom t-shirt, and kids under 5 can join for just $5 or even for free without a shirt. For those who can’t make it to Akron, we offer a virtual 5K or 1 Mile option, allowing you to join the fun from anywhere! Virtual participants will receive their items by June 20. Don’t miss the chance to challenge yourself, support recovery, and create lasting memories on this special day!

Organiser's Description
This 5K challenge offers fun competition for athletes of all ages and abilities. The course challenges (winding through trees, stepping through tires, hills, and more) represent the challenges of those in recovery. Everyone receives a medal. Early registrants also receive a custom 5K race shirt.
1 MILE FAMILY FUN WALK:
The Family Fun Walk is a great way to get the entire family involved! Each paid participant will receive a custom t-shirt. Kids under 5 yrs. old are $5, if no shirt option they are free and will get something fun (because 5 year-olds don't get excited about shirts)!
VIRTUAL 5K OR 1 MILE:
Can't attend our event? We offer a virtual option so you can participant any where. Items for the virtual option will be shipped after the event by June 16 and should be received by June 20. Virtual times can be posted from June 7-30!
NO SHIRT OPTION IS AVAILABLE FOR A DISCOUNT OF $5 OFF REGISTRATION FOR EITHER EVENT!
