Get ready to lace up your running shoes and join the excitement at the Annapolis Striders Championship Series Races! Kicking off on Saturday, February 10, 2024, with the Valentine's 5K at Kinder Farm Park in Severna Park, MD, this thrilling series features a total of seven races throughout the year, culminating in the Anniversary Run 15K on December 8, 2024, at Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis.
Participants can look forward to a variety of distances, including the Cherry Pit 10 Mile Race on April 7, the Father's Day 10K on June 16, the John Wall Memorial One Mile Track Run on July 13, and the unique Dog Days 8K Cross Country Run on August 4. Runners will also tackle the Metric Marathon on October 6 and the Downs Park 5 Miler on November 2. This series is a fantastic opportunity for members to showcase their running skills and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow athletes. Note that this particular registration is not a requirement to be included in the Championship Series ranking and members may choose to register for each race individually. The only requirement is to be a member before the first race in the series (the Valentine's 5K) and run the races.
