Registration Periods for the LIVE EVENT: May 26, 2024 - June 30, 2024 Early Bird Pricing = $30.00 July 1, 2023 - September 27, 2024 Regular pricing = $35.00 September 28, 2024 (from 6:30AM - 7:45AM) Late entry pricing = $40.00 This years race is a hybrid event, both a LIVE and a VIRTUAL race. You can register for the LIVE, or the VIRTUAL, or register for each of the events (**you must register separately for each event if you wish to do both**). Packet Pickup: Friday, September 27th from 1:00-7:00 pm Flying Feet Sport Shoes located at 1511 Mt. Rose Ave, York, PA 17403 Packet pick-up will also be available race day morning at White Rose Bar & Grill starting at 6:30AM, so please plan accordingly. RACE SHIRTS Race shirts for 2024 will be available to purchase for $12.00. Please choose this option during online registration to ensure you receive the desired size. Male and female styles and sizing. Water Station: The water station will be located on both sides of Hamilton Ave. Runners will pass by at 3.5 miles and 0.5 miles to go. Post-Race Party at the venue, White Rose Bar and Grill Parking Lot. Food and drink (a sandwich and beer) will again be provided by our partner, the White Rose Restaurant Group. Non-alcoholic beverages and vegetarian options will be available. Announcements and music will be provided by Chris Wagman. AWARDS We will have a brief presentation of the top five male and female awards, the top male and female masters, and the winners of the Stroller Division and the Team Challenge. Age group awards may be picked up at a designated table. Strollers must be running specific. This is for safety. 2. Strollers must have a child. (Ha! Thought youd push an empty stroller for the win?) And one year a runner pushed his stroller with his three children!! Team Challenge: Compete as a team with two ways to win: 1) biggest team or 2) fastest team. The five-person (or more) team challenge adds another level of fun and competition to the York White Rose Run. No additional fees apply. Simply register as a team online. The first person to register for the team adds a team name. Subsequent team members select the team name from a drop-down menu. Biggest team: Will be recognized online and after the race. Fastest team: Cross Country-style scoring will determine which team takes home the HUGE TRAVELING TROPHY. Each year, the winning teams name is engraved on the trophy. Go down in history! Scoring method: 1) Only complete teams are scored. Complete teams must have 5 or more finishers. 2) Runners are placed within their teams by their finish time, fastest to slowest. 3) The number of points a runner earns for their team is determined by their ranking among qualified runners. Qualified runners are the fastest 7 runners on complete teams. 4) A teams total points is the point sum of the first 5 qualified runners on a complete team. 5) Positions 1-5 within a team are called scorers. Positions 6 and 7 within a team are called displacers. In the event of a tie: 1) A tie is broken by the first displacer 2) If a team does not have displacers, the team with 6 finishers wins. Prize Money: Top five male and female finishers will receive $250, $200, $150, $100, & $50, respectively. Masters Awards: The top male and female finishers 40 and over will receive $75; the second will receive $50. If a master winner is in the top 5 overall, he/she wins both cash awards. Volunteering is rewarding and fun. There are various types of volunteer jobs, such as: Course Monitor Downtown Area Course Monitor Farquhar Park Course Monitor Rail Trail Area Course Monitor Sweep Water Station Packet Pickup Team Race Venue Most volunteer jobs are on race day only, generally from 6:00 am through the end of the race. You must be 18 or over to be a volunteer for any of the tasks. RACE SHIRTS Race shirts will be available gratis to race-day volunteers as our thank you. During volunteer registration, select male or female styling and your size. Shirts guaranteed with registration up through 9/11/2024. After that there is limited availability. Register early! On race morning you will meet with your volunteer captain who will have last minute instructions and your race shirt, which is our thank you for volunteering. Thanks for volunteering.
