Join us for the AppleJack Fun Run & Walk on Saturday, September 20, 2025, in the scenic Nebraska City, Otoe! This vibrant event, held in conjunction with the beloved AppleJack Festival, invites participants of all ages and skill levels to enjoy a delightful 5K run/walk through the charming landscapes of Nebraska City. The race kicks off at 7:30 a.m. at Steinhart Park, with a beautiful route that features a mix of brick, gravel, and rough terrain. Plus, don’t miss the chance for your little ones to participate in the free 1-mile Kids Run at 8:30 a.m.! With strollers and leashed dogs welcome, everyone can join in on the fun. Enjoy ample free parking at Nebraska City High School and restrooms available at the start/finish area. Please join us for the annual 5K run/walk through beautiful Nebraska City on Saturday morning, September 20, 2025, in conjunction with the citys AppleJack Festival! We encourage participation of everyone from the beginner to experienced road runners - proceeds from this event go back into the Nebraska City community.
The route for this 5K begins in Steinhart Park in Nebraska City. Portions of the race will be on brick, gravel, and rough terrain. Strollers and dogs (on leashes) are welcome and encouraged! Check the Facebook link below for a picture of the route!
Meet at Steinhart Park in front of Steinhart Aquatic Center at 7:00 a.m. The run begins at 7:30 a.m. Plenty of free parking is available at Nebraska City High School, 141 Steinhart Park Road. Restrooms are available at the start/finish.
There will be a 1-mile Kids Run beginning at 8:30 a.m. in Steinhart Park. The Kids Run is free!
