ARCTIC DASH - KIDS WINTER TRACK CHALLENGE
Kick off the 2026 with fast feet and big hearts! The ARCTIC DASH is a fun, high-energy indoor track event open to Pre-K through 8th graders, designed to keep kids active, smiling, and _on track_ all winter long.
Participants can choose from 200M (FIVE YEARS AND UNDER), 400M, 800M, OR 1-MILE RACES, all held on the indoor track at Tryon International Equestrian Center - do one or all three! Whether you are new to racing or ready to conquer a personal best, this event is all about movement, community, and supporting each other.
Registration is completely free. We simply ask each participant to bring at least two canned goods to support Thermal Belt Outreach, who serves Polk County families and individuals that need assistance with day-to-day necessities such as food, heat, and housing. It's a great way for kids to race with purpose and give back to families in need.
