HOSTED BY THE GFWC ASHCAKE WOMANS CLUB, this year's event promises fun, community spirit, and a chance to make a difference. All proceeds will benefit MOMENTS OF HOPE OUTREACH [https://momentsofhopeoutreach.org/], GIRLS ON THE RUN [https://www.gotrrichmond.org/], and other local charities.
RUN OR WALK IN THE "CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE"! Start and finish at the picturesque Ashland Carter Park. Enjoy the camaraderie of fellow participants as you take in the stunning fall scenery.
CERTIFIED COURSES: Both the 10K (VA21018RT) [https://www.certifiedroadraces.com/certificate/?type=m&id=1207] and 5K (VA21016RT) [https://www.certifiedroadraces.com/certificate/?type=m&id=1205] courses are US Track & Field Certified, ensuring a top-notch experience for all participants.

PROFESSIONAL TIMING BY COMMONWEALTH TIMING: Both the 5K and 10K events will be chip-timed, ensuring accurate results for all participants.
PACKET PICKUP AND REGISTRATION: Packets can be picked up at FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH ASHLAND, 800 Thompson Street, Ashland, VA 23005, on OCTOBER 16, 2026, from 5:00 PM TO 7:00 PM. (After turning onto Wesley Street, please take the first left into the church parking lot. Parking is available immediately to the right after entering the lot. From the parking area, follow the sidewalk to the building entrance under the covered overhang. Directional signs will be posted to help guide you.)
Or at CARTER PARK on race day (OCTOBER 17, 2026) from 6:45 AM TO 7:30 AM. Registrations will be accepted at both packet pick-up locations. All registration will be onsite during packet pickup or race day after October 16, 2026, at 10:00 AM.
PARTICIPANT PERKS: Participants will receive a finisher's medal, a race t-shirt (if registered by September 30, 2026), and automatic entry for prizes on race day.
TOP FINISHERS IN THE 10K AND 5K will receive money and medals.
