Join us for the Atalaya Elementary 2025 Turkey Trot on Thursday, November 27th, 2025, in the beautiful city of Santa Fe! Celebrating its 19th anniversary, this beloved community event features a lively 5k race and a fun-filled 1k Kids Fun Run, attracting over 450 enthusiastic participants each year. The Turkey Trot has become a cherished holiday tradition for both locals and visitors alike, all while serving as the largest fundraiser for the Atalaya Elementary PTA, which plays a vital role in supporting our children and teachers.
Don't miss out on the chance to be part of this exciting event! The first 500 registrants will receive a commemorative t-shirt to commemorate their participation. Packet pickup will take place on Wednesday, November 26th, from 4 PM to 6 PM at Atalaya Elementary School, with race day registration and packet pickup available starting at 8:00 AM on the 27th. The 5k race kicks off at 9:00 AM, followed by the Kids Fun Run at 10:30 AM. Awards for the overall winners will be announced at 11:15 AM. And remember, regardless of the weather, the race will go on

This year marks the 19th anniversary of the Atalaya Turkey Trot 5k Race and 1k Kids Fun Run!
With over 450 runners, the trot has become an annual tradition for the Santa Fe community and for the many visitors who come to town for the holidays. The race is also is the biggest fundraiser for the Atalaya Elementary PTA, providing critical funding to support our kids and teachers!
The First 500 people to sign up will get a t-shirt.
* Packet Pickup - Wednesday 11/26 from 4PM to 6PM at Atalaya Elementary School, 721 Camino Cabra
* Race Day Registration & Packet Pickup - 8:00 AM
* 5k Race begins at 9:00 AM
