Since its inception in 1983, the Awesome 3000 has brought together youth from Salem-Keizer and surrounding areas to participate in a spirited fun run that not only promotes health and wellness but also supports local schools.

This year, participants can look forward to an unforgettable experience as they race to benefit Salem-Keizer schools, with nearly $40,000 in grants being distributed by United Way to enhance educational opportunities for children in the district.
