This free event encourages donations to support local food initiatives, with funds going to the Hilo Food Bank and food items collected for the Malia Puka O Kalani Food Pantry. As a special incentive, the first ten participants who donate $50 or more will receive a generous $20 gift certificate from KTA! Whether you're a seasoned runner or a casual jogger, the Turkey Trot is a perfect way to give back while enjoying the breathtaking surroundings of Coconut Island. Join us for a morning filled with fun, gratitude, and the aloha spirit!

ALOHA. JOIN US FOR BIG ISLAND ROAD RUNNERS' ANNUAL CHARITY TURKEY TROT ON NOVEMBER 27, 2025 AT LILI'UOKALANI PARK.
THIS IS A FREE EVENT WHERE WE ARE REQUESTING, IN THE SPIRIT OF THANKSGIVING, DONATIONS. ANY MONETARY DONATION WILL BE GIVEN TO HILO FOOD BANK, AND ALL FOOD DONATIONS WILL BE GIVEN TO MALIA PUKA O KALANI FOOD PANTRY.
KTA HAS GENEROUSLY GIVEN US TEN $20 GIFT CERTIFICATES TO GO TO THE FIRST 10 PEOPLE WHO DONATE $50 OR MORE. YOU CAN DO THIS WHEN YOU GET TO THE DONATION SECTION IN THE REGISTRATION PROCESS.
