Get ready for an exhilarating day of fun and fitness at the Band on the Run 5K on Thursday, June 4, 2026, in Linden, Genesee! This exciting event not only supports the Linden High School Marching Band but also promises a fantastic experience for runners, walkers, and families alike. Participants will traverse the scenic campus of Linden Community Schools, with the race commencing and concluding right on the 50-yard line of Claude Cranston Stadium. Expect plenty of motivation along the way, as the high school marching band will be there to inspire you!
In addition to the main 5K race, a half-mile kids run will kick off 30 minutes prior, making this an ideal outing for the whole family. While there isn't a separate category for walkers, everyone is encouraged to join in the fun! Finishers will receive medals, and awards will be presented to the top three runners in each age group. Help Support Linden High School Marching Band with this fantastic new event. This 5k will take you through the campus of Linden Community Schools. Start and finish on the 50 yard line of Claude Cranston Stadium. The marching band will be out on course to motivate and inspire you along your run.
There will be a 1/2 mile kids run that will start 30 minutes before the 5k start.
No separate walk category available, but we encourage walkers to participate.
Finisher Medaland Awards for the top 3 in each age group!
PRIZE ALERT! FEMALE SIGNMALE SIGN We have a _$100 gift card to Running Lab Brighton_ for the overall female and overall male runner!

NOTE FOR THE CREATE YOUR OWN BAND SIGNUP: A "band leader' will sign up, create the band name, set a band password and need to register. Each additional member will then sign up and join the band. First member pays $30. Second member pays $28. Third member pays $26. Fourth member pays $24. Fifth member pays $22 and Sixth member pays $20.
