SPONSORED BY THE BANK OF SALEM IN HONOR OF MARK THOMAS, THIS 5K RUN AND WALK BEGINS AND ENDS ON THE COURT SQUARE IN SALEM, ARKANSAS AND IS JUST ONE PART OF THE FULTON COUNTY HOMECOMING FESTIVAL ACTIVITIES HELD EVERY MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND.
THE RUN FEATURES 11 AGE DIVISIONS FOR BOTH MEN AND WOMEN PLUS ONE WALKING DIVISION (5K ONLY). OVERALL AWARDS WILL BE PRESENTED TO THE FIRST MALE AND FIRST FEMALE FINISHERS AND MEDALLIONS WILL BE GIVEN TO THE FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD PLACE FINISHERS IN EACH AGE DIVISION. Date: Saturday, May 25th, 2024 Location: Salem, Arkansas Course: Run begins & ends on the court square in Salem. The course will be well marked with race workers along the route. Ages 4-7 & strollers will run approximately 1/2 a mile. Ages 8-10 will run approximately 1 mile. Entry Fee: $15 at the time of registration. All registrants get a specially designed 2024 Squirt Race t-shirt. T-shirts will be ready to be picked up at 9:00 A.M. the day of the race at the registration table located in the middle of the court square on the north side. Late Registration: $20 Late registration will begin at 9:15 A.M at the registration table located in the middle of the court square on the North Side. The race begins at 10:00 A.M. by the clock at Bank of Salem. Prizes: Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in 5 divisions: Boys (ages 4-7, 8-10), Girls (ages 4-7, 8-10), & Strollers.
