BATESVILLE DAY 10K A CLASSIC VIRGINIA RACE SINCE 1979
The Batesville Day 10K has been a local favorite since 1979, winding through the beautiful hills, orchards, and farmland of Virginias Blue Ridge foothills on paved country roads. Awards are given to top finishers, and thanks to our generous sponsors, every runner will take home a prizeplus a 2026 Batesville Day T-shirt or gift.
Known (somewhat notoriously) as _the only 10K in Virginia that starts and ends in the same placeand is all uphill,_ this race is as fun as it is challenging. If you havent run it before, its a must: scenic, community-centered, and just 20 minutes from town.

Parking for the race will be at Leedom Field (1521 Craigs Store Road). As you head down Craigs Store Road from the Batesville Market, cross the bridge and parking will be on your left. There is a quarter mile, 5-7 minute walk from the parking area to the race start.
