Organiser's Description
The Bay to Beacon is a race in Harrisville, Michigan including distances from kids 1 miler up to half marathon. Our event is non-profit and is proud to support three local charities: the Friends of Negwegon State Park, The Alcona Historical Society, and The Sunset Project. The race has a fast and flat course in northeastern Michigan; with a beautiful view to match, the course starts and ends in two state parks (Negwegon State Park and Sturgeon Point State Park). Joining us as a destination race is an amazing opportunity for runners to unwind this summer in stunning northeastern Michigan and still get a training race in for those fall marathons.

**The Half marathon is a point-to-point style route. The race begins in Negwegon State Park and ends at Sturgeon Point State Park. The route runs along Lake Huron and will provide shuttles post-race. This requires you to park or be dropped off at Negwegon State Park prior to the race. If parking at Negwegon State Park a Michigan State Recreation Passport is required. -
