Event summary
This year, the BeastLake race features some fantastic new twists along with beloved obstacles from previous years. Enjoy the exhilarating "stay cool" options, including a slip n slide water slide, a balance beam over an inflatable pool, and refreshing sprinklers to splash through as you conquer the course. Best of all, these water features are entirely optional, ensuring everyone can participate at their own comfort level. Plus, food trucks will be on-site to satisfy your cravings, with registered participants receiving food vouchers. Join us for a day filled with camaraderie, competition, and community spirit, all while supporting the Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy!
Organiser's Description
The BeastLake is back for the 8th year, and we have some new twists along with favorite obstacles from past years. Back for 2026 is a stay cool option to the course that includes a slip n slide type water slide down part of the course, an option to do the balance beam over an inflatable pool. and an option to run through a section of sprinklers midway through the race. All the water features are OPTIONAL and designed to bring an additional fun experience to the race. We will also be having food trucks at this years race with registered 5KOC and 5K participants receiving food vouchers.

A competitive event. Participants will challenge themselves on a single loop, cross country course, with 16 obstacles. This is a timed event with Overall and Age Group Awards. There will be two starting times participants can choose from 7:45am or 8:15am. -
