RACE OVERVIEW

With August temperatures and humidity soaring, we are offering a great way to get a 5K run in! This indoor 5K takes place entirely inside Arundel Mills Mall!

Perfectly aligned with Maryland tax-free week and back-to-school shopping, this 5K lets you do more than just run the halls of Arundel Mills, you can also take advantage of exclusive in-mall specials before or after you cross the finish line.

The inaugural race this past February featured special shopping events, coupons, giveaways, and swag from Hey Dude, Under Armour, Nike, Lindt Chocolate, Auntie Anne's, Medieval Times, Nandos, Merritt Athletics, and more! Stay tuned to hear who will be participating this summer.

Choose between completing multiple loops for the full 5K or opting for our familyfriendly fun run or walk, featuring a shorter distance perfect for kids and new runners. This race takes place before the mall opens! This may not be the ideal course for chasing personal best, but we promise it will be fun, memorable, and truly a one-of-a-kind experience!

All finishers will receive a medal and a shirt.

**This race has a firm participant limit. If registration is still open, you're in! Once we reach capacity, we'll be excited to welcome you back to our next race.

Please note that strollers are only allowed during the Fun Run/Walk**

Reminder- this is a cupless race! Waters will not be handed out. We have dozens of water fountains on site and want to ensure the floors stay as dry as possible. Please bring a container with a lid for your water.

POST-RACE ACTIVITIES!
After you cross the finish line, stick around for post-race activities, including fitness demos, recovery stretches, training tips, and workout ideas for all ages.

PACKET PICK-UP

Bib, swag, and shirts will be available on Saturday, August 8th, at Under Armour! If you cannot attend pick-up on Saturday, please email us for other accommodation.

SWAG AND GIVEAWAYS
All participants receive both a finisher's medal and a t-shirt!

Check in for the swag bag our retailers and partners provide, including giveaways, raffles, promos, and discounts at Arundel Mills stores! Shirts are not guaranteed for runners who sign up after 8/1.

HYDRATION STATIONS

Running with water or other fluids is allowed as long as your container closes securely and wont leak. Acceptable options include water bottles, CamelBaks, sports bottles, or any similar sealed container. Cups of water will not be provided during the race.

WHAT TO BRING

Your personal water, bags, and gear are welcome! Waves will start and finish in the food court, where plenty of tables and chairs will be available for storing your items. Please note that pets, selfie sticks, glass containers, and weapons are not permitted. Neither Arundel Mills nor Peake Events can assume responsibility for lost or unattended belongings.

Parking and Entrance Recommendation
The closest and most convenient parking is at the Maryland Live! Casino parking garage, which is free. From there, enter the mall through the Food Court Entrance (Entry 2). For easy reference, Nandos PeriPeri and Crafty Crab is located right next to that entrance.

Distance Disclaimer

Please note: Course distance and start times may adjust slightly based on registration numbers and logistics. Waved start times will help ensure plenty of space for running through the mall corridors. The 5K course is four laps around the mall and is ~1/10th of a kilometer longer than an exact 5K when you run to the far-left side of the course.

STROLLERS AND CHILDREN NOTE TO SPECIAL NOTE FOR FAMILIES WITH STROLLERS & CHILDREN

The 5K course is four laps around the mall, which means there will be a few tight sections, including two areas with a small ramp youll go up and down each lap. Runners may also choose to use the three-step staircase in those sections if they prefer. Strollers are welcome only in the Fun Run Or Walk and must start at the back for everyones safety. Any child participating in the 5K should be able to maintain a steady jogging pace and stay to the right-hand side of the course. Kids bring wonderful energy, and we love seeing healthy habits start early. To keep everyone safe and the race flowing smoothly, please ensure your child is truly ready for the distance and able to follow basic race etiquette, including staying aware of their surroundings and running predictably. Everyone, especially families, is encouraged to join the Fun Run Or Walk if thats the better fit for them!
