Participants can choose to run or walk in either the 5K or 1-mile distances, both kicking off at 8:30 AM. Registration opens at 7 AM, right across from the Ticket Plaza inside the beautiful Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.
Not only will you be contributing to a worthy cause, with all proceeds benefiting University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children Hospital, but you'll also have the chance to win prizes for the top individual and team fundraisers! Each registration includes a commemorative race t-shirt, a finisher medal, and all-day admission to the zoo. Whether you join us in person or opt for the virtual run, your participation will help make a difference in the fight against cancer. Beats for a Cure is a non-profit organization that uses music to raise funds to fight various types of cancers. The initial goal was to aid breast cancer research and support, but has grown to assist not only breast cancer, but prostate, multiple myeloma, and for this event, childhood cancer.
Funds raised will go to University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children Hospital. With your support we can help find a cure. Beats for a Cure: Battling Cancer Through Music. _https://www.beatsforacure.org/ _
When you register you are given the option to become of a fundraiser or create/join a fundraising team. We will be giving a prize to the top individual and top team that raises the most funds. Those funds raised are TAX DEDUCIBLE and go towards University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Childrens Hospital for childhood cancer. You can have friends, family, and businesses sponsor your run/walk by donating to your page.
