Join us for the 54th annual Tuscarawas County YMCA Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 27, 2025! This exciting event will take place at the Tuscarawas County YMCA located at 600 Monroe St, Dover, OH 44622, starting at 9:00 AM. The Turkey Trot welcomes participants of all ages and skill levels, from serious runners to families with strollers and furry friends. Experience the joy of community as you kick off your Thanksgiving festivities with a fun run or walk.
Participants can choose from various race distances, and awards will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three in each age group. Special awards will also recognize the best spirit, costume, and even the oldest and youngest runners! Don’t forget to register by November 1 to guarantee your race shirt in sizes ranging from Youth Small to Adult 3X-Large. All proceeds from this heartwarming event help provide financial assistance for kids and families in our community, ensuring access to vital programs and services. Organiser's Description
This will be the Tuscarawas County YMCA's 54th Turkey Trot! The event is held on Thanksgiving Day, THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 27, 2025 AT 9:00 AM located at the Tuscarawas County YMCA, 600 Monroe St, Dover, OH 44622. Everyone is welcome to register and participate in this fun, family-friendly race whether you're a serious runner, walker, family with strollers and dogs, or are just looking to start your Thanksgiving off right! Our participants ages range from babies all the way to runners in their 90's!
Awards are given to the top three overall female and male finishers and the top 3 in each age group. Special awards for best spirit, costume, oldest and youngest runners and best pet costume will also be given at the race.
T-SHIRTS:
We offer Youth Small to Large, Adult Small to 3X-Large, or No Shirt option. PLEASE REGISTER BY NOVEMBER 1 TO GUARANTEE A RACE SHIRT!
PROCEEDS:
All proceeds from the Turkey Trot provide direct financial assistance to kids and families in our community through the Y's Annual Campaign, ensuring everyone has the opportunity for a Y membership, program participation, life saving swim lessons, preschool, afterschool care, summer camp, youth sports and so much more.
