The 2nd Annual BKM 4 Life Foundation Black Maternal Health 5K is a timed event hosted on the campus of SSM Health DePaul Hospital St. Louis, a proud sponsor of this initiative. The race course features a double loop around the hospital perimeter and shines a light on the challenges and triumphs Black moms face during pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum.
Black women are 34 times more likely to die during childbirth. This fundraising event raises awareness and drives action to improve care for mothers and babies.
