Join us for the 12th Annual Blackstone Valley Prep 5K Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run on Sunday, October 5, 2025, in the picturesque Slater Park, Pawtucket, Providence. This exciting event invites scholars, families, staff, and community members to come together for a morning filled with health, wellness, and fun! The 5K Run/Walk is open to the public, and participants are encouraged to bring their strollers and leashed dogs to make it a family-friendly occasion.
Kick off the day with a lively Kids Fun Run at 9:00 a.m., where young scholars in grades 4 and under can enjoy stretching and a short run led by a BVP Physical Education instructor. The main 5K event starts at 9:15 a.m., and while day-of registration will be available, we highly recommend preregistration to secure your t-shirt, as they will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. All proceeds from this event will benefit Blackstone Valley Prep Athletics, so come out, support a great cause, and enjoy a day of community spirit and fitness!

The 5K Run/Walk is open to members of the general public. Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome, so bring the whole family!
Prior to the start of the 5K Run/Walk, scholars in grades 4 and under can take part in stretches and a short fun run led by a BVP Physical Education instructor.

*Please note vehicles arriving after 8:45 a.m. MUST park in the lot closest to the parks entrance in order to keep the course clear for the Kids Fun Run.
