Welcome to the BLAZER DASH! This is a community event that includes a 5K RUN and 2 MILE WALK. Also included is a fun 1/4 mile KID'S DASH for children (10 and under) that will begin after the 5K RUN / 2 MILE WALK. Free CHILDCARE (pre-registration is encouraged) is available for parents during the run/walk (there is a maximum capacity for childcare). Sign up for the events above!

The 5K RUN is $25, the 2 MILE WALK is $20, while the KID'S DASH is $15.
Day of registration is also available for an additional $5 for the 5K RUN or 2 MILE WALK, the KID'S DASH will remain $15, and childcare is still free.
Kids (10 and under) who register for the 5K RUN or 2 MILE WALK may also participate in the KID'S DASH free of charge (and no need to register for the KID'S DASH).

SOLES FOR JESUS
There will be a collection bin for new and gently used shoes supporting SOLES FOR JESUS. These shoes will be donated to the people of Africa, who are in need while also helping to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Shoes are a basic luxury that we often take for granted everyday. Many of us are unaware that millions of people across our globe live barefoot lives. Please consider supporting this effort. OPENS 06 MARThe 5K race route starts and ends at Bethlehem and meanders on roads and walking trails in Germantown, and goes through Kinderberg Park. The 5K race is chip timed. All runners receive a "dry fit" like moisture wicking athletic performance shirt! There is one Aid Station on the course. There are no bathrooms on the course, but Kinderberg Park has public bathrooms not far off the course. The start/finish area has bathrooms in the school for before and after the race. There will be a bicyclist leading the first runner, but the course is well marked with signs and volunteer course marshals. There will be maps available of the course. Kids (10 and under) who register for the 5K Run may participate in the Kid's Dash free of charge (and no need to even register for the Kid's Dash). There will be age group awards, male and female, 3 deep for the following ages: - 10 and under - 11-14 - 15-19 - 20-29 - 30-39 - 40-49 - 50-59 - 60-69 - 70+ Packet pick up is available race day, Saturday May 16th, from 7:15am-7:45am, or Friday May 15th from 3pm-6pm (at the Germantown Bethlehem Lutheran Church and School). Start and finish on the 5K race course but the walk route goes 2 miles instead of 5K (3.1 miles). The course is well marked with signs and volunteer course marshals. OPENS 06 MARThe Kid's Dash course will be approximately 1/4 mile. All of the kids receive a "finisher ribbon" and a "dry fit" like moisture wicking athletic performance shirt! The Kid's Dash will start at approximately 9am and utilize the 5K finish line. If a kid (10 and under) is already registered for the 5K Run or 2 Mile Walk there is no need to register for the Kid's Dash, they are automatically eligible to participate if they so choose. Day of registration is also available (no price increase). Packet pick up is available race day, Saturday May 16th, from 7:15am-7:45am, or Friday May 15th from 3pm-6pm (at the Germantown Bethlehem Lutheran Church and School). -
